Who We Are
Jade Moyano
Jade is a journalist, travel writer, and the founder of Trust & Travel.
She uses her gift with words to foster human connection through impactful storytelling. To her, writing is about meaning, it’s about creating bridges of shared experiences between people. She has spent the past 8 years writing for publications such as Monocle, Conde Nast Traveller UK and US, GQ, People, Passion Passport, Here Magazine, and Uproxx.
When she’s not telling tales from her worldly explorations, she’s helping brands tell their story by guiding them to find their authentic voice. She works as a conceptual storyteller and researcher at Airbnb.
Erin Rose Belair
Erin Rose is multi genre writer and co-founder of Trust & Travel. Her focus, regardless of her medium, handles the intricacies of how to live with a broken heart. Her short stories have been widely celebrated, winning awards and publications in Glimmer Train, Narrative, The Greensboro Review, and more. Her lyrical essay collection, The Blue Years, is set to be published in 2022, and she is currently editing her first novel. Erin Rose is represented by Folio Agency in New York.
She received her MFA in fiction at Boise State University where she also spent years teaching creative writing. Since graduation she and has gone on to teach in writing workshops around the world. She works as a travel writer, copywriter, and creative consultant.
The Trust and Travel Manifesto
We believe in living a writer’s life, and that this alone is a privilege. To live in this way is to set your heart out on the table for lunch, to ask why at every turn, to learn the names of every tiny village and shopkeeper you encounter. It is to turn on all senses, all of the time. It is to always move towards, never away and take in life until your are painfully full on it.
We know calling oneself a writer is not an easy feat, and for some of us it takes a lifetime. But to trust is to remember you already know the answer, you already know the way. We want to invite you in, remind you there is a seat at the table, and ask you to feast with us. You are already the writer you want to be, but once in a while we must nurture that self to draw it out. We are here to help you unlock and hear the voice that is your own.
